Please open the Bear and Cub for this Lesson in your PSP:

How to move a body part:

Open a new image 500x500 Transparent Background.

Copy and past the tube as a new layer.

Rename it/ Bears Close out the original one.

Now lets start out with The Little Bears Head.

With your free hand tool. Go around the little bears head as close to
where you want to move his head from as you can like this:



Now click inside the circle so that it will hug up to his head.

EXAMPLE:



Go to the layer pallet and promote selection to a layer

In the Layers Pallet, activate the Bears layer and tap delete on the keyboard so that the little bear's head is deleted

In the Layers Pallet, activate the layer with the little bear's head

Selections/ Select none

Duplicate the little bears head 2x's. So you have 3 layers of his head. Like this:



click on Little Bear head 3 and move it to the
right with your deform tool like this:



Once you get it in place.

Use the smudge tool to close in the holes you have so that
it doesn't look separated from the body. You should have something that looks like this:



Now the little Bear's Head 2 leave as it as is. You aren't going to move this one.

Click on Little Bear Head 1, and move it to the Left like this:



Remember to clean it up and fill in the holes so that it's
moving smooth and looks like part of the bear.

You should have this :



Use these Same Steps to move the Big Bears head.

Once you learn how to make one body part move: Your options
are free to move any body part you wish:

To make the Bear Dance: I used the Deform tool and Used the
Method we used for the Bouncing Lesson in BB-Lesson-9.
Let me explain it a little more Bellow:



Here you see my Finished Bears.

I went in and Made each frame like this:



Before making the Frames: Please make sure you don't need to Sharpen your Image:

Close all layers that are not part of Frame 1 except Transparent background:
Remember you need that to keep all the layers the same size:



Copy Merged/ Past into PSP as a new Image/ Rename this Frame 1

Close the Frame 1 Layers and Open Frame 2 Layers

Copy Merged and Past as a new Layer in Frame 1 Image

Rename this Frame 2 Repeat the same steps for Frame 3.

To Make Bears Dance:



Activate Frame 2 Layer:

Using the Deform Tool; Move the Bears down a little by "grabbing" the middle node at the top of the bounding box and moving it down:

Activate Frame 3:

Repeat the Same Steps for 3 moving the Bears down lower then Frame 2

Remember to Duplicate Frame 2 and Name it Frame 4





Copy and Past into A/S and Set the Speed:

Save to send in as part of Homework:

EXAMPLE: Of a Person Moving Body part:

1)   Turn in this Finished Lesson Image:

2)   Create 2 More Tags with Moving Body parts:
( One of them has to be a Person the other can be an Animal:)

2)   Tell me how many Frames it took and the Speed you have it set on:
