Step 1:   Open The Gold Background and the Rose:
you downloaded in your Supplies into your
PSP Work Space and Minimize it for later:

Step 2:   Open a New Image 500 x 500 Transparent background:

Step 3:   Set your Foreground at:
HTML:#fdfbf3 And Background at:#faf4e2

Step 4:   Set your Foreground to Gradient/ Foreground/ Background

Step 5:   See Example for Gradient Settings:



Step 6:   Flood fill the Background

Step 7:   Add new layer and name it Background 2

Step 8:   Change your Background Color to : HTML #ada28c

Step 9:   Flood fill Background 2 with Foreground/ Background
Gradient: Same settings

Step 10:   Adjust/ Blur/ Motion Blur : See Example for Settings:



Step 11:   Repeat the Motion Blur one more time:

Step 12:   Go to Effects/ Texture Effects/ Rough Leather :

Step 13:   Go to Adjust/ Blur/ Gaussian blur/ 1 :

Step 14:   Copy and Past as a new Layer the Gold Background
Provided in your Supplies:

Step 15:   Copy and past as a New Layer the Rose Provided
with your Supplies:

Step 16:   Effects/ 3D Effects/ Drop Shadow: See Example for settings:



Step 17:   See Example for what it should look like so far:



Step 18:   Save as PSP file with Layers

Step 19:   Duplicate by holding Shift Key and Your D Key

Step 20:   Close the Original One

Step 21:   Merge / Merge Flatten

Creating The Frame:

Step 22:  Image/ Add Border/ 2 / Color: HTML:#5b3542

Step 23:   Image/ Add Border/ 4 / Color: HTML: #dad7d0

Step 24:  Image/ Add Border/ 3 / Color/ Black

Step 25:   Click inside the Black Border and flood fill with Gold:

Step 26:   Selections/ Select None

Step 27:   Image/ Add Border/ 4 / Color: HTML: #dad7d0

Step 28:   Image/ Add Border/2/ Color: HTML:#5b3542

Step 29:   With your Selection Tool: Make a Selection Like this:

Step 30:   Effects/ 3D Effects/ Buttonize :

Step 32:   Image/ Add Border/ 30 / color: HTML:#b3b583

Step 33:   Effects/ Artistic Effects/ Halftone :

Step 36:   Image/ Resize / 400 x 400 Pixels

( We do this so we can get it back if we have a Computer Shut down)

Step 40:   With your Freehand Tool ( Feather set at 1)
outline the Rose like this:

Step 41:   Duplicate Image : Shift/ D Keys

Step 42:   On the Duplicated Image apply this Noise Effect:
Adjust/ Add/Remove Noise: See Example:



Step 43:   Export and Save this as JPEG / Rose-Frame1

Step 44:   Close Rose-Frame1 Out

Step 45:   Duplicate The Framed Rose with the Marching Ants:

Step 46:   Adjust/ Add/ remove Noise/ Same
Settings but change the % to 15

Step 47:   Export and Save as JPEG / Rose-Frame2

Step 48:   close Rose-Frame2 out

Step 49:   Duplicate The Framed Rose with the Marching Ants:

Step 50:   Repeat Noise but Change it back to 25%

Step 51:   Export and Save as JPEG/ Rose -Frame3

Step 52:   Close Rose-Frame2 Out

Step 53:   Duplicate The Framed Rose with the Marching Ants:

Step 54:   Repeated Noise But Change it back to 15%

Step 55:   Export and Save as JPEG/ Rose-Frame4

Step 56:   Close Rose-Frame4 out

Step 57:   Duplicate the Framed Rose with the Marching Ants:

Step 58:   Repeated the Noise But change it back to 25%

Step 59:   Export and Save as JPEG/ Rose-Frame5

Step 60:   Close Rose-Frame5 out

Step 61:   Duplicate the Framed Rose with the Marching Ants:

Step 62:   Repeated the Noise but change it back to 15%

Step 63:   Export and Save as JPEG/ Rose-Frame6

Step 64:   Close Rose-Frame6 Out

Step 65:   Close Framed Rose with the Marching Ants:

Step 66:   Open in your PSP Rose-Frames 1 Through 6

Step 67:   With your Tube Tool: Sparkle: Scale set at 30:
Add a Sparkle to Frame 1 like this: See Example:


Step 68:   Save Changes to Rose-Frame1 and close

Step 69:   Add a Sparkle to the Next Ring in Rose-Frame2

Step 70:   Save Changes and close Rose-Frame2

Step 71:   Repeat this with all 6 frames making sure to
move the sparkle down one ring each time:

Step 72:   Open animation Shop

Step 73:   File/ Animation Wizard
(You also have a short cut Animation
Wizard Icon under your File) See Example:



Step 74:   The first window that opens will be like this:

Shift Key and Click on Rose-Frame 1:
( By going from the bottom to the Top they will
line up in the right order)

Step 85:   Once they are Selected Click Open and you will see this:



Step 86:   Make sure they are in the right order:
If you have one out of order: It's easy to fix:
Click on the one that's out of order:
And click on the Move up or down button until you
have it in the right place:

Step 87:   Press Next and then Finish

Step 88:   Now you may view your animation:

Step 89:   You may now Save your animation:

Step 1B:   Open The Turtle tube up into your PSP and the fore Font up in Windows Task Bar

Step 2B:   Open a New Image 500 X 500 Transparent Background

the New Image as a New Layer: Rename it Turtle 1

Outline the Shell of the turtle like this:

Step 26B:   In the Duplicated Image / Adjust/
Add/Remove Noise/ Add Noise/ 25

Step 27B:   Export and Save as JPEG Turtle-Frame1

Step 28B:   Close Turtle-Frame1

Step 29B:   Duplicate Turtle with Marching Ants again

Step 30B:   Add Noise of 35

Step 31B:  Export and Save as JPEG Turtle-Frame2

Step 32B:   Save and Close the Turtle with the Marching Ants as a PSP file:
We do this so that we save our Marching Ants
incase we need them again later:

Step 33B:   Open Turtle Frame 1 and 2

Step 34B:   Activate your Text Tool with these settings:
Create As: Floating
Direction: Left to right
Font: Fore
Size: 48
Stroke Width: 1.0
Font Style: Bold
Alignment: Center
Foreground and Background Color HTML: #49796d

Step 35B:   Type in your Text

Step 36B:   Promote Selection to Layer

Step 37B:   Selections/ Select None

Step 38B:   With the Moving Tool.. Move your Text into Place

Step 39B:   Once your sure your Text will fit into
your Project just right Copy and past it as
a new Image Like this:

Step 40B:   With your Magic Wand: Feather 0 Click inside each Letter:

Step 41B:   Selections/ Modify/ Contract / 1

Step 42B:   Flood fill with HTML:#cfdcd2

Step 43B:   Duplicate ( Shift/ D )

Step 44B:   Adjust/ Add Noise of 25 / Selections/ Select None

Step 45B:   Copy and past into Animation as a New Animation

Step 46B:   Close Turtle-Text1 out

Step 47B:   Duplicate Text again

Step 48B:   Adjust/ Add Noise of 35 / Selections/ Select None

Step 49B:   Copy and Past into animation After Selection

Step 50B:   Using the Animation Wizard Exactly like We
did for the Rose: All same settings:
Open your Two Frames of the Turtle:

Step 51B:   Click on the Top of your Turtle animation and
Hold your CTRL Key down and click on the A Key
( This selects Both Turtle Frames)

Step 52B:   Click on the top of the Text Animation and
Hold the CTRL Key and click the A to select
both Text Frames:

Step 53B:   Copy the Text Frames

Step 54B:   Past them into Selected Frames: See Example:



Step 55B:   View Animation

Step 56B:   We didn't resize in PSP so we need to Resize:

Step 57B:   Go to Animation/ Resize / 400 x 400

Step 58B:   Save Animation:


ASSIGNMENT:

1. Send in both tags made following the directions.

2. Send in two (2) additional tags using your own supplies
