This is my own creation, any similarities to other
tutorials is purely coincidental and unintentional.

Please read my steps below before you continue. You will find that everyone has their own technique for animation. And I'm sure within these lessons you will see those different ways of doing it. Its just important for you to understand the process.

The first thing I do is the part that I want to move I use my selection tool you can use point to point or freehand its up to you. Select the area and then go to edit copy.

Then I go to blank spot in my PSP and right click and paste as a new image.

While I have it selected I go back and click delete on my keyboard.

Now that you understand the process lets give it a try.

Now that you know the way I do it I have supplied my psp image with the layers named in your supplies. Open up those doll move in PSP and lets get started.

Drag the Arrow to mark your progress

1. Click on the foot layer to activate it, duplicate it 2 x's and rename the duplicated layers foot2 and foot 3

2. Close off the original foot layer and foot3 layer and make foot2 layer activated.

3. Click on your raster deform tool, make sure the presets say scale. Using the nodule tilt the foot down slightly by pulling the nodule down.

4. Now close foot2 and open up foot3 and activate it.

5. Using your raster deform tool again angle your foot by pulling the nodule up slightly.

6. Don't pull up to far because you do not want to separate the foot from the original image. If you do you can use your move tool to move it over but be aware if you do to much your animation will look choppy and will not flow correctly

Open up your AS.

7. Close foot3 and open up foot.

8. Right click and copy Merged.

9. Go to animation and paste as a new animation.

10. Go back to PSP and close foot layer and open up foot2. Right click and copy merged.

11. Go back to AS and on your image right click and paste after the current frame you should now have 2 frames.

12. Go back to PSP and close foot2 layer and open up foot3.

13. In AS click on F:2 to activate it, right click and paste after the current frame.

14. File/save as/name it.

Now using the lesson above try moving the hand. By now I'm hoping that you understand that's it layers that are slightly different that make animation.

1. Turn in the foot moving for credit.

2. Open up girl still and using what I have explained Move her hand so she is waving. Turn her in for credit.

3. Find 2 other tubes from your supplies and make something move. Could be a tail wagging, or hands waving that is up to you.
