Kaleidoscope Tag

I tried to make it easy with the pictures, use them. But don't pay attention to my colors, I didn't like the first set and redid it, so the colors do not match the pictures but the settings are the same.

Open your corner image from the ZIP in PSP.



Drag the Arrow to mark your progress



Setting up your Pallets

1. New Image 300 x 115 pixels, raster background, transparent.

2. Pick your colors I used foreground : #fefcf0, Background: #77b3bb

3. After you picked your colors go back to materials pallet click on gradient and choose the foreground/background gradient.

 

4. Flood fill your image with the gradient. (see example).

5. Text chose it, and the size. Change it to Selection instead of vector (see example). Place it in the center you may have to try this several times in order to get it right.

 

6. While the text is still selected go to effects/3d effect inner bevel  2x's. See example for settings.

 

7. While the text is still selected go to Effects/3d effect drop shadow 2 and then go back and make it -2. Use all the same settings as I have in the example.

 

8. Selection invert

 

9. Now go to effects, artist effects/ Halftone. Follow the same settings as I have.

Select none.

 

10. Add border at 10 pixels, black (or a color that is not in your tag), magic wand flood fill gold.

 

11. Now go to select invert - And inner bevel 1x, same settings as above.

 

12. Go back to Select invert - inner bevel 2xs.

Select none.

 

13. Add border see example uncheck Symmetric make the 100 top and bottom 100.

 

14. With your magic wand select the upper half then click on your shift key and with the magic wand select the lower half, flood fill with original gradient. To get back to original gradient. click on materials pallet click color, click okay, Then click on pallet again and gradient and it should be there.

 

15. Go to Effect/Reflection Effects/Kaleidoscope and follow my example for the settings.

Add your watermark now.

 

16. Now open of the corners with the lesson, Copy it and paste it as a new selection.

 

17. Click on Raster Deform tool. Take the corner and move it up to the far left side. See example.

 

18. When in place rename it Corner1

 

19. Duplicate corner1 and go to image and click Mirror. Rename it corner2.

 

20. Go back to corner1 layer make sure its activated and duplicate it. Rename this layer corner3 and move it above corner2. See example.

 

21. Go to image and click on flip.

 

22. Go back to corner2 layer make sure its activated and duplicate it. Rename this layer corner4 and move it above corner3. See example.

 

23. Go to image and click flip. Note: if this method does not line the corners up the way you want them to then click individually on their layers with the raster deform tool and move them to the desired location.

 

24. Merge your image flat.

 

25. Add border 10, flood fill gold.

 

26. While still selected go to selections and invert.

 

27. Go to effects 3d effects and inner bevel 1 x same settings as above.

 

28. Go to selections and invert again.

 

29. Inner Bevel it same settings as above but do it 2x's.
