Go to your PSP folders and in "All Lessons", "Framing Bee's " make a new folder name: Frame 6

You will also need a graphic or photo in portrait layout (taller than wide); duplicate; close original; minimize

Save goldpattern.jpg to My PSP Files>Patterns

Set Foreground material to color and select light color from graphic

Set Foreground material to Pattern and select goldpattern; Angle:0; Scale:100

Set Background material to color and select dark color from graphic

Set Background material to Pattern and select graphic/photo; Angle:45; Scale:100


Step 1

New Image 275x375 Transparent

Image>Add Borders: Foreground color (right-click in color box and select Foreground color); 2; Symmetric

Image>Add Borders; Background color; (right-click in color box and select Background color); 2; Symmetric

Image>Add Borders: White; 4; Symmetric

Activate Magic Wand

Select white border

Flood Fill with Foreground pattern

Select None

Step 8

In Layers Palette, right-click and select Promote Background Layer

Activate Magic Wand

Click inside frame, selecting white area

Tap Delete on keyboard

New Raster Layer

Effects>3D Effects>Cutout, same settings

Select None

Save in PSP format for future use


Step 9

Maximize graphic/photo

Copy

Minimize

Activate Magic Wand

Make Raster 1 layer active

Click inside empty frame

New Raster layer

Layers>Arrange>Send to Bottom

Selections>Modify>Expand by 5

Paste Into Selection

Select None

Resize Height to 450 (Width will self-adjust)

Save in PNG format


ASSIGNMENT

1. Send in the frame made with the lesson

2. Create another frame using the steps in the lesson

3. Send in both frames for Credit
